Changes to lecture programme

Wednesday 21st September 2016

The speakers originally scheduled for the December and February lectures are now unable to be present, and new topics and speakers have been arranged.

Our speaker for the 8th December lecture will now be Professor Tony Fallick from the Scottish Universities Environmental Research Centre in East Kilbride, who will talk on "Planet Earth’s Mid-Life Crisis". (The talk will be preceded by a brief AGM).

On the 9th February we welcome Dr Diarmad Campbell, Scotland’s Chief Geologist at the BGS, who is going to talk about the interdisciplinary mapping and modelling project of the Clyde basin known as the Clyde Urban Super Project (CUSP).

Further information about the lectures can be found here.
